New York Density Separator & Dewatering Screen Application

1600gpm flow to density separator @ 8% solids (-200mesh). Note strength of solids deposited from underflow of unit onto dewatering screen.

Fines coming off the back of dewatering screen onto slide trough.

Another view of material from separator underflow "boot". Clear water exits the top of unit to the Pond. Flocculants are added prior to unit.

Fine solids dropping into back of "haul truck" - note stacking and additional dewatering due to stacking weight.

View looking down from dewatering screen decking into haul truck. Note the "grainy" texture to the fine solids. This provides the stack strength.

Close up of stacked fines after the dewatering screen. Material is around 60% solids, but easily transportable due to the strength of the individual particles.

Water to the Pond after the fine solids removal with process.
